What do you enjoy about your role?
I love interacting with patients. I love hearing their stories of how cannabis has helped them and sharing knowledge I have gained with patients to better help their needs.
What draws you to medical cannabis?
I love that it is a plant from nature that has changed so many peoples lives for the better.
What do you enjoy about your position? Or What is your favorite product to produce?
Flower has always been my favorite so I am naturally drawn to learning about new strains, genetics, and benefits from flower.
As a patient, what products do you find helpful? How has cannabis helped you?
I first started really learning about the medicinal benefits of cannabis after I had back surgery in 2020. I didn’t want to take all of the pain medications and looked for natural options, and was truly not expecting the significant benefits I received. My career was in social work and after experiencing these benefits I made the career switch and came to ACS. It continues to be one of the best decisions I have made.
What is something surprising about cannabis that someone who hasn’t consumed before might not know?
The main thing that surprised me when I first started learning about medicinal cannabis was that you don’t need to get “high” to get medicinal benefits.
What are your favorite ACS products?
Anyone who knows me knows I love my Pura Vida. It gives me the perfect boost of focus, uplift and energy.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love being outside as much as possible. Also, I love gardening, swimming in the ocean, any animal interactions, and learning about history. I just got back from a trip to Portugal, Spain, and Morocco. Going to a Kasbah from 500 AD in Morocco, and a structure from 700 AD along a beach in Spain was incredible.
Anything else you’d like to add? Hopes/dreams for medical cannabis?
Hull will finally be adding AU in a couple months! Seeing a whole new consumer base and being next to the beach in summer…it’s going to be a blast.
