How long have you been with ACS?
I’ve been with ACS for 3 Years.
What do you enjoy about your role?
I like doing a little bit of everything and being hands on. This includes trimming, harvesting, dry room take downs and grinding cannabis for pre rolls. What I enjoy most of all is Secondary packaging. This is where the colorful labels and compliance stickers get put on our products and essentially is the final step before patients get their medicine. This role is important because I’m finishing off packaging products and ensuring quality control. I like secondary the most because while I am at work, it feels like I am doing arts and crafts everyday.
What draws you to medical cannabis?
What draws me to medical cannabis are the numerous benefits the plant provides for us. Studies have shown that it helps to aid pain relief, nausea, PTSD, anxiety depression and so much more!
As a patient, what products do you find helpful? How has cannabis helped you?
A lot of the relief / relax strains of flower we carry are very helpful personally. My go to has to be the Relief cart. This helps ease my anxiety and muscles soreness from day to day activities. It’s also super convenient and discreet for on the go!
What is something surprising about cannabis that someone who hasn’t consumed before might not know?
All of our plants are female! The female plants are the plants that’ll get you stoney! Go women 💪🏼❤️
What are your favorite ACS products?
The balm and the pink lemon-Aid flower. These two are the perfect combination to end my night.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I like finding new hobbies and exploring new adventures with the wifey. I just started crocheting over the summer, and made a couple of blankets for family. Some adventures the wifey and I enjoyed are Sky diving, glass blowing, snow boarding, zip lining, horseback riding, camping, animal rescue centers and walking trails with our pup Olli.
Anything else you’d like to add? Hopes/dreams for medical cannabis?
I just hope people in the world start to educated themselves more on cannabis. People still view it as Taboo and sometimes still has a negative connotation attached to it. Weed is medicine! The biggest advice I can give is to educate yourself and others and be open minded.
