This easy protein filled recipe will help power you through your day. Use this recipe as a base and try cannahoney instead of cannabutter, use anothuh buttah for PB, Choco or PB whey protein powder instead of Vanilla, switch the chocolate chips with (or just add!) nuts, cranberries, raisins, grains, crispy rice. You Got the Power!!
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats (or oat flour)
- 2 TB peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
- 2 TB melted canna butter
- 3 TB honey
- 1 cup vanilla whey protein powder
- 1-2 TB water
- 4 TB chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
- In microwave safe bowl or double boiler, melt the peanut butter, honey, canna butter and mix.
- Stir in protein powder, oats and chocolate chips ‘til well combined. If mixture is too dry (depends on the consistency of the chosen nut butter and addins), add 1TB water at a time and stir well.
- Using parchment paper to prevent sticky hands, press the protein bar mixture into a baking sheet or brownie pan covered with a layer of parchment paper sprayed nonstick spray.
- Refrigerate until firm, then cut into bars.
