As a local (and much valued!) Bridgewater employee, hear Dave’s thoughts on marijuana, the town, ACS, and what the future holds.
“As a Bridgewater resident for over 23 years I’ve seen the landscape of the town change year after year. With surrounding towns taking in larger “brick and mortar” and “box” stores to help with tax revenue, I originally thought that Bridgewater should do the same. However, over time I realized that having the town made up of primarily small businesses like ACS, makes it take on a much more personal feel. My family and I have always supported and used a local lawn company, mechanic, electrician, plumber and frequent a small coffee and pizza shop in town.
After commuting over an hour at my previous job, I noticed ACS was opening in my backyard. Fed up with my commute and having an interest in the marijuana industry, I decided to apply for an open position at ACS. Over 4 years later and taking on new challenges within ACS, I take pride in working in a company that is part of this small business community.
At ACS we strive to offer our patients a comfortable environment in which they can come in and talk one on one with our knowledgable staff regarding their medical marijuana needs. Added to that, ACS came to Bridgewater not just to offer people the best product options available in the state, but to also explain the benefits of its use and educate people about the marijuana industry itself. Our Outreach Program does a tremendous job about getting out in the community to address concerns and answer questions people may have.
As the marijuana industry continues to grow with new dispensaries and becomes legalized in other communities, ACS today, still stands as one of the original marijuana facilities. Since opening in 2018, we are continuously growing and adapting to our patients needs and look forward to the future here in Bridgewater”.
