SOOOO worth the effort! Enjoy these Christmas morning or wrap up a few for Santa to grab when he makes his rounds.
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 TB sugar
- 3 TB butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp yeast
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg
Filling:
- ¼ cup cannabutter, softened (recipe on our website)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 TB cinnamon
Glaze:
- ¼ cup cream cheese
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix sugar, salt, yeast, and 2½ cups flour in large mixing bowl.
- In separate bowl, mix melted butter and milk, then add to flour mixture.
- Stir until all is well meshed together.
- Add egg, then slowly add remaining flour – mix til you have a consistent soft dough.
- Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl and set aside in a warm, dry area for 15 minutes.
- Place dough on lightly floured surface and roll out into a 9×13 inch rectangle.
- Spread ¼ cup softened cannabutter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Roll the dough lengthwise into a log and cut into 10-12 equally sized pieces.
- Place pieces on a greased baking tray, cover with aluminium foil, and allow the dough to rise for 1 hour – dough should double in size.
- Preheat oven to 375. Bake rolls until they are lightly browned –roughly 25 minutes.
- While rolls are baking mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, melted butter and vanilla extract together until smooth
- Remove the rolls from the oven and glaze
- Serve! Enjoy!!
